Bethesda had a surprise mobile hit on its hands when it launched Fallout Shelter back in 2015. The game still proves popular to this day and now, the publisher is applying that same formula to a new Elder Scrolls game.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles randomly appeared on the Google Play Store this week with no prior announcement. The game is structured exactly like Fallout Shelter, offering players the chance to build up their own castle, assign residents to certain tasks and fight off invasions.
For now, The Elder Scrolls: Castles seems to only be available in certain regions and only on Android devices. The game might be in a limited test phase right now, which would explain the lack of release on iOS.
Bethesda hasn't said anything publicly about this game yet but we would expect that to change this week now that the Android version has become available to download.

KitGuru Says: Given how much money Fallout Shelter made, I'm a little surprised this didn't happen sooner.
