Hyte’s latest PC case comes with a 14.1-inch touchscreen

Hyte has launched another unique case to join its portfolio. The Y70 Touch doesn't just stand out with its aesthetics, but the 14.1-inch touch screen display in the centre enables new possibilities for custom PC builds.

The latest addition to Hyte's trademark Y-Series cases is the new Hyte Y70 Touch, featuring a massive 14.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1100 x 3840 built into the corner panel. The Y70 Touch from HYTE is basically an upgraded version of the popular Y60 model. With a 10-point multi-touchscreen featuring 283 pixels per inch, users can get creative with it. The Hyte Nexus Touch allows for customisation with various widgets, including system performance monitoring, Twitch chat engagement, gaming, Google calendar, weather and time updates, note-taking, and more, all available from the corner of the Y70 Touch.

The iconic ventilation pattern of the Y-series continues with the Y70 Touch, which now features lower impedance for increased airflow and cooling capacity. It supports up to a 360mm radiator on the side and top bracket and up to a 180mm tall air cooler. Users can also mount up to three 120mm fans at the bottom to provide direct cooling to the GPU. The Y70 Touch comes in four colour combinations: white, white/black, red/black, and black. It includes a PCIe 4.0 riser cable with a colour-matched canopy, enabling vertical GPU mounting of up to a four-slot graphics card. The case also provides seven half-height horizontal PCIe slots behind the GPU for additional hardware support.

The Y70 Touch has a dual-chamber interior layout to showcase components in the front while providing ample space in the back for easy cable management. Toolless top and side panels make upgrades and maintenance easy, and the glass panels can be removed to create a hybrid, open-frame design. L-shaped moulded rubber grommets have been integrated around the motherboard tray for a cohesive look, while reusable Velcro straps, routing channels, and tie-down points ensure the rear of the case looks as good as the front. The Y70 Touch is now available to pre-order priced at $359.99 and will be available worldwide in December.
