Call of Duty Black Ops 6 unlock times announced

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is due to launch in just under two weeks. Pre-loading for the game is now live across both PC and consoles, revealing one of the smallest COD install sizes in years. Now, we have exact dates and times on when the game will go live.

If you are looking to jump into this year's Call of Duty as soon as it drops, then you'll want to be up early on the 25th of October if you are in the UK. The game is unlocking at 5AM BST this year, so you'll have a full day of playtime. For those in Central Europe, the timing is a little friendlier, with the game going live at 6AM CEST. As you may expect, those in the US get the best end of the deal, with the game unlocking at 10PM CST on the 24th of October.

As a reminder, if you are picking up Black Ops 6 on PC, you'll want to be playing on a system with at least 8GB of RAM, paired with a Ryzen 5 1400 or Core i5-6600 processor, as well as an RX 470 or GTX 960 graphics card. Those are the minimum specs, for those looking to chase higher frame rates and graphics settings, you'll want at least 16GB of RAM, as well as a newer Ryzen 7 or Core i7 processor, and an RX 6800XT or RTX 3080 graphics card.

The game will also require 102GB of storage space, but that includes the campaign, multiplayer and zombies modes. During pre-load, just the campaign and multiplayer packs are downloadable, bringing the file size down to less than 60GB. As its own separate game mode, Warzone will also increase the overall install size of the game, so as usual, you may want to reserve a couple of hundred gigabytes of SSD space if you plan on playing all of the game modes.
