First AMD Ryzen 9000X3D CPU reportedly launching in November

A flood of reports regarding the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D have landed over the past week. In addition to new details on specs, a new November launch window has been reported for the eight-core Ryzen 9800X3D.

According to a recent video posted at Bilibili (via HXL), the 8-core 9800X3D has a base frequency of 4.7GHz, boosting up to 5.2GHz across all cores during rendering. However, concerns have been raised about the lack of real-time testing and the absence of physical CPU evidence, raising some doubts about the authenticity of the information. Earlier leaks suggested that the 9800X3D could achieve 2,145 points in single-core tests and 23,315 points in Cinebench R23 multi-core testing, indicating a 20% to 28% uplift over the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Moreover, the potential debut date for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D has been discussed at Chiphell (via VideoCardz). Some rumours point to a release window between November 1st and 5th, while others claim November 7th as the launch date. The official announcement is expected on October 25th.

Lastly, MSI reportedly held a tour of their plant, showcasing next-generation Intel and AMD board production processes and new designs. The media briefing apparently included details on Ryzen 9000X3D and Intel Core Ultra 200 for desktops. As seen in the slides from HardwareLuxx (via VideoCardz), MSI confirmed that the 9000X3D series will feature 8-core and 16-core processors. The gaming performance of Ryzen 9000X3D is expected to be up to 13% better than Ryzen 7000X3D.
