BitFenix Fury 650W Gold Modular Review

Rating: 7.5.

Bitfenix have earned a strong reputation in enthusiast circles thanks to their wide range of quality case designs. In the efforts to diversify their portfolio they recently launched a power supply range – dubbed the ‘Fury'. Available in three capacities – we look at the mid model today – the Fury 650W. These semi modular power supplies have all achieved 80 Plus Gold Certification and are competitively priced. One of the main talking points is actually the individually sleeved cabling, eye catching at this price point.

  1. I wonder if they will be reliable? I guess only time will tell. Those individually sleeved cables do look tempting!

  2. Why buy this when the Seasonic 660W Fully Modular 80+ Platinum is available for £3 more? No brainer there.

I bought the 550W model 4 weeks ago purely for the cables. I would of wanted the Corsair but the added costs of the braided cables is too much. I know it’s pricey and better options for the money, but the cables sold it for me. After building my ITX PC, I’m glad I went for this unit as the cables helped a lot and make the build look professional.

  4. yea, especially being that this is based on fsp aurum. that mediocre at very best platform needs to die already.
