The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs have leaked

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 appears to have leaked ahead of its supposed unveiling next month, revealing its full specifications which include a 1440p QHD display and a Snapdragon 805 processor.

This leak comes via a retailer based in India, Eraphone, which is prematurely taking pre-orders for the upcoming device. If the leak is to be believed, the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a 5.7 Inch 2560×1440 Super AMOLED display with a 515ppi pixel density.

Powering the device will be a 2.5 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core CPU or possibly a Samsung Exynos 5433 chip depending on what part of the world your're in. You'll also find 4GB of RAM under the hood all running Google's Android 4.4.3 Kit Kat Operating System.

Like most Samsung devices, the Note 4 will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB iterations although all of them will include a micro SD card slot capable of adding in an addition 128GB of storage. The listing also confirms a 16MP rear facing camera and a £500 price tag. This leak comes just a day after the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which will ditch Samsung's often used plastic design in favor of a metal frame.

  1. looks like a suitable replacement for my wreaked Note 3, also has a nicer price tag as well!

  2. Have an original Note, and have had so for 2.5 years, and will be about 3 by the time I get to upgrade. Note 4 is almost certainly going to be my choice for the upgrade. The original has never failed me once, and as I am a fan of the big size, it’s certainly looking like a winner.

My last 5 phones have been Samsung, and I’d certainly go for a sixth, but there are others out there I like the look of, like the new LG G3 and the HTC One (M8). So a choice of three for me.

  3. Anyone have any ideas on why the Galaxy Alpha has an octa core @ 2.5 ghz but the note 4 is sitting on a quad? I’m guessing they are both octa but with four cores shut down?

  4. Just bought a note 3 in June with intentions of possibly reselling to buy a note 4, but now i am thinking maybe I should hold onto my 3 longer, I love it so much I don’t think I could resell it, even if it was to get the note 4.

  5. Samsung Exynos 5433 is octa-core (BigLittle tech), Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 is quad-core processor.

  6. I would definetly go for the note 4 I have the 2nd one and it still runs perfect without any glitches

  7. We can see now what screen the new version of Oculus will get …
But 1440 @75hz is not that easy and users will struggle to get a high-end pc
to be able to use it without problems and stutter.
    Just saying…

I own a Note 2.. And for me it’s definitely useful in every bit of it, mostly the S Pen.. Well I actually bought this for the S Pen.. I passed for the note 3 for its really impractical to follow the flagship trend, for it will cost you more for just a bump upgrade on some hardware and feature.. If I’m gonna be planning for an upgrade next year or last quarter of this year.. This would be it.. I read in some articles that the new Samsung flagship would now be featuring the unibody aluminum design ditching it’s long history of plastic build.. I’m kinda excited even if I’m not yet sure if I’m gonna have this one..

  9. Well I know they are two different procs. I was wondering why they decided to go with the 805. I’m guessing the video proc on the 805 is better?

  10. Time will show 🙂
