Metal Gear Solid V and Ground Zeroes will come to PC

Hideo Kojima has officially announced that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes will both come to the PC platform via Steam. The announcement was made at the MGS livestream at Gamescom last night.

Metal Gear Solid enjoyed a long and successful life as a Playstation exclusive but the series is finally branching out to other platforms. There is no release date announced just yet but we will probably see the four hour long Ground Zeroes release first. PC gamers will get a cool in-game item though, a Steam branded box for Snake to sneak around in.

MGS V ON STEAM

Now we just have to hope that Konami delivers a solid PC port. So far, the game's PS4 version has been hyped up to be the best looking, however, the dev team behind the port would be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't take advantage of the extra power of the PC platform.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release during the first quarter of 2015 for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, as well as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Ground Zeros is already out so it's possible that we will see that hit Steam fairly soon while MGS V will take much longer.

KitGuru Says: I didn't own a Playstation when I was younger so I've missed out on the Metal Gear series completely. However, i'm glad that I will finally be able to check it out when Metal Gear Solid V comes to Steam. Are you guys excited for Metal Gear on the PC?

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation

Black Ops 6 is officially here, bringing the innovative new Omni-movement system to the game. While on the surface a relatively simple change, I argue that Treyarch intimately studied DOOM and the past 30 years of first-person shooter evolution to craft one of the most satisfying gameplay systems yet.
