Pre-orders for Sony’s Pulse audio accessories to go live next week

Back in May, Sony announced that they would be expanding their repertoire of PlayStation accessories, announcing the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, followed by the Pulse Elite over-ear headphones. Now, the console manufacturer has revealed exactly when these accessories will launch – with pre-orders set to go live as soon as next week.

Making the announcement on their blog, Hideaki Nishino (the senior Vice President for Platform Experience at SIE) said “ Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and additional PlayStation Link USB adapters will be available to pre-order starting Thursday, November 9 at 10am local time.”

The earbuds will be the first of the two products to be made available, with the Pulse Explore set to launch on the 6th of December in select markets (US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand). Its global rollout will then continue over the following months.

The Pulse Elite over-ear headset meanwhile will launch in all markets at the same time, starting from the 21st of February. For the uninitiated, the Pulse Elite Wireless Headset will cost £129.99 and is said to feature “lossless audio and comes with a retractable boom mic and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds” alongside ”custom-designed planar magnetic drivers for an audiophile-level listening experience.”

The Pulse Explore Earbuds meanwhile will cost £199.99 and provides “a premium portable audio experience with dual microphones and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds. It also offers lossless audio and comes with a charging case.”
