MSI upgrades its Infinite and Aegis desktops with Intel 14th Gen CPUs and RTX 40 graphics

MSI is revamping its desktop PCs with new Intel 14th Gen Core desktop processors. The new Infinite RS and Aegis RS systems offer a convenient upgrade path for those looking to make the jump to the latest generation of processors and graphics cards, with plenty of room for further upgrades down the line.

Both systems are designed with performance and aesthetics in mind, utilising ATX cases with three ARGB fans at the front for pulling in cool air and one in the back for removing hot air from the system. With the Aegis RS, you have configuration options up to an RTX 4080 and 14th Gen Core i7 processor, which should be more than enough to power lengthy gaming sessions. However, if you need a bit more power, the Infinite RS can be configured with up to a 14th Gen Core i9 processor, as well as a liquid-cooled RTX 4090.

In the table below you can see the full specs for each system:

While MSI will only ship these PCs with 64GB of RAM, you can add in extra, as the motherboards support up to 128GB of DDR5 memory. Additionally, there are extra drive bays if you want to add some extra SSD or HDD storage down the line. You'll be well equipped with all the latest connectivity standards too, with a fast Ethernet port, as well as access to WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, making connecting to the web and hooking up wireless peripherals a breeze.

Currently, these systems are available in the US but we should see similar pre-built options available in Europe and other regions soon.
