Nvidia brings Age of Empires IV to GeForce Now, Microsoft Store and Game Pass coming

Last month, Microsoft and Nvidia officially kicked off their new partnership with the first wave of Xbox titles heading to GeForce Now. This week, Age of Empires is the headlining addition to the GFN library.

As of today, owners of Age of Empires IV on Steam can now stream the game to almost any device through GeForce Now. At a later date, Microsoft Store integration will arrive on GeForce Now, so if you own any supported games directly through Microsoft's store, you'll be able to stream those on GFN as well.

With Microsoft Store integration on the way, this also paves the way for GeForce Now to support Game Pass subscriptions. If you subscribe to Game Pass (PC), soon you'll be able to stream all cloud-supported titles on the service through GeForce Now, in addition to Microsoft's own Xbox Cloud Gaming service. While xCloud has some advantages, GeForce Now does offer the best performance, particularly if you upgrade to the RTX 4080 tier and have the bandwidth to enable 120 FPS streaming.

Aside from Age of Empires IV, today's GeForce Now library update also brings support for Dordogne, a new colourful indie game.
