TeamGroup recently announced the new T-Create Classic C40 PCIe 4.0 line of SSDs. The new series features three different models, each targeting a specific set of users, from the entry-level market up to the high-end segment.
The T-Create Classic C40 series PCIe 4.0 SSD is available in three models: C47, C45, and C43. With maximum reading speeds of 7,400 MB/s, 5,000 MB/s, and 3,500 MB/s, respectively, the new T-Create C45 and C43 SSDs have a storage capacity ranging between 512GB and 2TB. The C47 SSD has an additional 4TB variant. All of the C40 SSDs are DRAM-less and have a rated MTBF (mean time between failures) of 1,700,000 hours.
For cooling, each of these SSDs comes with a thin graphene heatsink. The SSD improves the efficiency of data operations by taking into account the security and integrity of data transmission by employing SLC Caching, a customised controller and firmware, and an LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check) debugging mechanism.
The T-Create Classic C40 series PCIe 4.0 SSD supports TeamGroup's S.M.A.R.T. intelligent monitoring software, which allows users to keep track of the health status of the SSD at any time through quick and easy related settings and detection. The company has yet to disclose the new SSDs' official pricing, but we know that they'll come with a 5-year warranty and be available in November.
