Microsoft's Windows 10 Technical Preview became available to download last night and we've already seen some of you guys install it, but as with most OS previews, this one has an expiry date, enthusiasts will be able to use the preview up until mid April next year, which is around the time Microsoft hosts its annual developers conference.
This is actually good news as it gives us an idea of when to either expect an updated consumer preview to replace the current build, or the final release of the OS itself, although the latter isn't quite as likely. Should there be an updated preview, we can expect it to be much closer to the final version of Windows 10, which Microsoft is hoping to officially release mid 2015.
For those of you who haven't seen much of Windows 10 just yet, some highlight features include virtual desktops, the return of the start menu, an overhauled desktop UI and modern apps now run in windowed mode on the desktop.
You can download the preview now over at Microsoft's site. Rumors are suggesting that Windows 10 may be a free update for Windows 8 owners although Microsoft has stated that it has no plans to announce pricing or upgrade plans before April next year.

I’m typing this on Windows 10 right now. So far it is excellent – it looks, feels and behaves like a finished product.
Its great.. Finally an os for my desktop.. Still i think i’ll leave 8.1 on my laptop because of Metro or ModernUI.
Cant wait for the new features like cortana
I really like Windows 10, I’ve only installed it on a Virtual Box so not using it as a daily OS but I like all the changes and it will be interesting to see how it behaves on other devices
I hope AMD will Bring Drivers for the Radeon HD 4200 Range of cards as installing the windows 8 way is ridiculous especially if you need to re-install. and i hope things like Hamachi and so on work better with windows 10.
