Roblox on PlayStation hits 10 million downloads in a week

Roblox is currently one of the most popular games of all time, with the free-to-play title seeing a total of 65 million daily active users and more than 5 Billion registered accounts. Despite this, Roblox hadn’t found its way on PlayStation platforms until last week. That said, during this short period, the game has already amassed 10 million downloads.

As reported by industry analyst Mat Piscatella, Roblox’s debut week on PlayStation was nothing to sniff at, with the title ranking third in percentage of PlayStation users that played the title at least once – only behind juggernauts Call of Duty MWII and Fortnite.

Stephen Totilo then added further context to its rapid success on the platform, saying: “A Roblox rep tells me that Roblox has been downloaded over 10 million times on PlayStation since its launch on that platform a week ago.”

10 million downloads sounds like chump change when compared to the aforementioned 5+ Billion registered users across all platforms, but it marks an excellent start for the game on PlayStation platforms – especially since Roblox has been available on Xbox since 2015.
