The Steam Deck has proven that there is quite a big market for handheld gaming PCs. Now, there are a number of companies offering handheld PC gaming devices, including Windows-based alternatives. Now, Seagate is offering a new FireCuda SSD for these systems.
The new Seagate FireCuda 520N sports the M.2 2230-S2 form factor, making it perfect for upgrading devices like the Steam Deck, the Microsoft Surface or the Lenovo Legion Go. While some other vendors do offer 500GB SSDs in this form factor, Seagate is sticking to the most popular options – 1TB and 2TB.
Offering read/write speeds of up to 5,000MB/s for the 2TB model and 4,800MB/s for the 1TB model, you'll have plenty of speedy storage for installing extra games on your handheld system.
The FireCuda 520N is available starting today, priced at £114.90 for the 1TB model and £194.90 for the 2TB model. Both versions come with three years of Seagate's data recovery service and a five year warranty.
