The Corsair Platform:6 desk has officially launched

Back at Gamescom, Corsair gave us the first look at the Platform:6, the company's first gaming desk. With height adjustment capabilities and modular add-ons to suit your gaming setup needs now and into the future, the Platform:6 is now ready for launch.

The Platform:6 is a large desk with an optional motor for adjustable height, so you can opt to sit or stand. Corsair has paid careful attention to ensure the desk can support its full range of products, with everything from peripherals to Elgato gear for a full streaming setup with lights.

The Platform supports today’s many diverse lifestyles, from the hardcore PC gamer to the remote worker in need of an organised workspace in the home. The desk measures six feet wide and can be shipped in multiple configurations, so buyers can opt for a different surface material, or make upgrades, such as an expandable rail system, or the Elgato Multi Frame for housing all your streaming gear.

There are desk extension kits and sideboards too, which can be purchased to make your desk bigger if you find that you need the extra room. Corsair is also selling power strips and cable boxes so you can tidy away all wires and keep your setup looking clean.

You can find the Platform:6 and its various accessories and extensions now on the Corsair webstore.

KitGuru Says: With the extension bundle costing £199.99 and the Elgato Multi Frame sitting at £299, expect this to be a very expensive investment if you are looking to max out the desk's potential.
