Chinese mobile device manufacturer, Huawei, seems to have fallen out of love with Windows Phone. The company has revealed that it didn't make any profit from its two previous Windows Phone handsets and then went on to boldly claim that “nobody made any money” selling devices running Microsoft's mobile OS.
This statement came from Joe Kelly, Huawei's head of international media affairs during an interview with The Seattle Times. This isn't the first time the company has had something negative to say about Windows Phone though, last year it also stated that the OS was weak. It seems like the manufacturer isn't satisfied with the changes Microsoft has made recently, including its move to make Windows Phone free to license.
Huawei seems to be the first manufacturer to put its Windows Phone plans on hold for the time being, although things could change next year with the launch of Windows 10 as Microsoft plans to unify all of its platforms and create a much better Windows ecosystem.

KitGuru Says: Windows Phone has struggled to compete over the last few years but things may start looking up with the launch of Windows 10, which will kick-start a new ecosystem for those who own multiple Windows powered devices. What do you guys think of Windows Phone? What changes do you think Microsoft should implement to turn things around?

The reason they fail with Windows phone is that Nokia/Microsoft Lumia devices at the same price where just a lot better for the money, I love Windows phone OS to me its just clean and simple.
I think it’s because it lacks what most of the people want in their phones. MAINSTREAM APP GAMES. I have a windows phone for phone-use and an android phone for playing games. Nevertheless it is really clean and simple, Windows OS is really cool.

Windows phone is terrible. I really hate apple, but i would rather have an apple device, the biggest problem is windows phone OS lacks the free apps.
The Windows app Store is kinda trashy. There are hardly any mainstream aps and third party developers get higher ratings for their knock offs than the original developer…
Even Nokia couldn’t make a business selling Windows phones, the Huawei guy is right, all the companies that tried with WP failed, its only still going because MS has very deep pockets, otherwise it would be history by now, its only still going now because MS have to make the phones themselves.
I agree with many people here in that the problem with windows phone is the marketplace. I actually have the pictured phone, and love it. But it drives me up the wall that I cannot get and use apps for things like my bank, alarm etc. It concerns me that you actually have to take the time to explain to some companies that windows phone is its own os, and that it is not Apple or Andriod. If I have to spend another 5 minutes arguing with a call center worker who claims that their app is for all phones and im not looking properly im going to start ripping my hair out. I would happily choose Windows phone if the market were better. As it stands, im moving over to Android once my contract has ended.
I use a windows phone on a daily basis unfortunately though its not by choice, Once i can afford it i will be switching back to the android platform. The windows phone is a great concept but lacks far to many apps that i find are much needed, I almost have to keep my android tablet on me all the time or i find it hard to do something as simple as banking! Maybe one day ill revisit a windows phone but for the time being Android is and will remain my favorite platform for mobile devices.
