Lexar has been expanding its PC component lineup. The latest additions are the Thoc OC DDR5 and DDR4 memory, offering a solution whether you have a new high-end system or an older one needing a RAM upgrade.
As the name suggests, the Lexar Thor OC DDR5 memory was inspired by Thor's hammer. It has been redesigned to incorporate a sturdy aluminium heatsink to improve the memory module's heat dissipation and meet overclocking requirements. With up to 6000 MT/s and CL32 timing, the Lexar Thor OC DDR5 memory should perform well on most systems. It has a low-profile form factor that is perfect for small PC designs and is compatible with most DDR5 motherboards. Additionally, it supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles.
The Thor OC DDR4 memory is an alternative for lower-end and budget-conscious systems, running at 3200 MT/s performance with CL16 timing. These memory sticks feature a winged aluminium heat spreader that keeps the memory cool and supports Intel XMP 2.0
Lexar Thor OC DDR5 memory is available in a 32GB kit (2 x 16GB) at 5600 MT/s for $92.99 and 6000 MT/s for $104.99. If you're looking for a more affordable option, the 16GB (2 x 8GB) Thor OC DDR4 memory will cost $38.99, and the 32GB (2 x 16 GB) kit will cost $64.99.
