be quiet! came to the Consumer Electronics Show prepared this year, with two brand new CPU coolers to show off- the Shadow Rock LP and the Dark Rock TF. The brand new Shadow Rock LP comes in at only 76mm high, allowing for up to 32mm height memory to be installed.
Other characteristics of the Shadow Rock LP include a 130W TDP, which is unusual for a low profile cooler. It also has 6mm copper heat pipes and a Pure Wings series PWM 120mm fan with airflow optimized fan blades. This one won't break the bank either coming in at around £25-£30, or €39.90/$39.90.
The second cooler be quiet! bought with them to Vegas this year is the high end Dark Rock TF, featuring dual heat sinks and two of the excellent Silent Wings 135mm fans.
The Dark Rock TF also has 6mm copper heat pipes and a maximum TDP of 220w with both fans running. However, this is reduced to 150w with just one fan enabled. The cooler comes to 13cm high with both fans installed. This one is a little more pricey than the Shadow Rock, coming in at around £50, or €79.90/$79.90.
Both coolers should be available at the end of March and come with a three year warranty.
