Chances are if you ever played the PC strategy, management classic, Theme Hospital when it was first released back in 1997, then you already re-purchased it sometime in the past few years on GoG. Still, if you haven't or you simply weren't aware of its existence before now, the seminal Bullfrog title is now available for free on EA's Origin.
That means that to get your fix of popping giant heads, curing invisibility and shooting rats as they run out from underneath the seats, all you need to do is login to your Origin account and download the game. You'll need to manage the growth of your hospital as you expand, hiring on more staff that will require breaks and get increasingly fussy as you progress through the game.
I know a lot of you hummed or whistled the ‘theme' from this game as soon as you saw the title
It's a fun and surprisingly challenging – on later levels – management sim that hasn't really been redone like many of the other Bullfrog games from the era. While not entirely comparable, the upcoming Big Pharma feels a bit like a spiritual sequel, though staff isn't much of a consideration since it's all based in automated factories.

KitGuru Says: It's really been too long since I ran my own award winning (read: vomit infested) hospital. I know what I'm doing later today.
Over in France it is Peggle that’s free.
