Rocksteady shows 20 minutes of Suicide Squad gameplay

After creating the critically acclaimed Batman Arkham Trilogy, Rocksteady’s next title was announced to be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. While conceptually a cool idea, the title’s gameplay reveal left a lot to be desired – ultimately leading to a massive delay. Now, the team are back to show what they’ve been working on, releasing their first episode in a new video series called ‘Suicide Squad Insider.’

Running just under 20 minutes long, Episode 01 of Suicide Squad Insider “deep dives into the main story of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the Squad’s traversal mechanics, and a peek at the world of Metropolis.”

Based on the formatting of the episode name, it seems as though we will get at least 10 episodes in this series, covering a whole host of details. It is interesting to see how the team at Rocksteady are talking about Suicide squad: Kill the Justice League, especially in the wake of the many criticisms held by fans following the initial gameplay reveal back in February of this year.

While we do not yet know exactly when episode 2 will air, the team did reveal that the next entry in this series will show off “more gameplay, combat mechanics and how to take the fight to the enemy in your own unique style.”

KitGuru says: What do you think of this new series? Are you more or less excited for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? What would you like to see them address in episode 3? Let us know down below.
