The Witcher 3 is set to feature Nvidia's own graphics technologies, such as Nvidia HairWorks and PhysX. The game will finally launch on the 19th of May this year after several delays. A collector's edition has been announced and we've seen quite a bit of gameplay.

This free game offer is available in North America and Europe.

KitGuru Says: The Witcher 2 really pushed PC hardware when it was released and The Witcher 3 is expected to do the same thing. From what we've seen so far, the game looks incredible. This is a pretty good deal if you're thinking about upgrading your graphics card any time soon.

  2. Or how about giving that to everyone that bought a gtx 970 before we knew about the 3.5+5 gig vram? We should have some kind of compensation for the lie. The gtx 970 was the very first gpu I bought for my first build. But I might just go with amd next time around. MY first impression of you guys was horrible. There is times I do need that extra 500megs, but it wont work so I have to turn down my graphics.

Are you kidding me? That 970 will eat anything you throw at it. Very few game’s require that full 4GB and fewer still will actually use it outside of listed specs. Also many vendors/stores offered refunds on the 970’s after this came out. If it truly bothered you so much, you could of returned it.

Also, don’t forget that all those benchmarks on the 970 are still accurate. It give’s those performances without access to the full 4GB in certain situations. It’s still easily one of the best cards currently around for it’s value.

Giving you a free game just ‘because’ is pointless, not to mention most vendors/stores gave free games away with the 970 anyway!

  4. Oh I know. It is a great card don’t get me wrong. I don’t feel like fooling with the refund either. But all that is irrelevant, regardless if it’s accurate or not. It’s the principle, they lied and tried to hide it. It is just the fact that they lied and I don’t like being lied to, you may be fine with a company lieing about a $300 product, but I’m not. I’m running a triple display, so I can max the settings on some games, but once direct x 12 is released it should not be a problem anymore. And I know, I got far cry 4 for my free game. And yes, you are right about all the benchmarks, but yet again that doens’t matter to me, they lied about their product. That’s what II’m saying.

I competent understand your point. The lying/hiding was not ok no matter the cost of the product. At least we know it still lived up to its benchmarks. I also run a triple display but I have two of the evga 970 SC cards and haven’t noticed an issue yet however that doesn’t mean it won’t happen sooner rather then later.

can i have one i have 2 gtx 980’s pls

  7. I’m only running one, the msi version. Damn sexy card. I can run almost all games at max, so I’m not running into any problems, really. But I planned on getting a 4k monitor in the future, and I know the 970 will have probs with it. I should have saved up for the 980 instead. And a couple years down the road is when we should start seeing probs with it. I’m sure some people tried to future proof with the 970. That won’t work if people planned on the whole 4gigs, that is. But as I said, when directx 12 is released it should add several years onto the longevity of the 970, I forget the exact numbers, but I heard that it will make cards run 40% more efficient? That is a huge number, also I may be wrong.

  8. Totally agreed! About the part that they should give this to owners of GTX 970 cards..
