Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PC system requirements announced

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has already had its beta and is on the way to launch on the 10th of November. While many have already had the chance to test the game out on their PCs, Activision has now confirmed the final PC system requirements for the game.

Modern Warfare 3 will support RTX features, including DLSS 3 with Frame Generation. Given that this technology uses AI to generate additional frames, it will be particularly interesting to see how well this works in a multiplayer setting. The game will also support Nvidia Reflex. We don't have confirmation on FSR or XeSS support yet for AMD or Intel GPUs but COD games are usually good about supporting a broad range of options.

You can find the game's full PC system requirements below-

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update)†
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Hi-Rez Assets Cache: Up to 32GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 / GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 470

  • Hi-Rez Assets Cache: Up to 32GB

Competitive / Ultra 4K Specifications:

  • Hi-Rez Assets Cache: Up to 64GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT

If you are only interested in playing Call of Duty multiplayer (standard multiplayer, not Warzone), then you can get away with running the game on an Intel Core i3-6100 or Ryzen 3 1200, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 960 or Radeon RX 470.

No matter your specs, you'll want an SSD for the game's installation, as well as 149GB of available space.
