New leaked image of the Moto 360 2 surfaces

The Smartwatch market is expected to boom this year with the launch of the Apple Watch so as you can imagine, Android Wear smartwatch makers are preparing their own devices in order to compete. We now have our first leaked render of what is apparently going to be the next Moto 360.

The image was posted to the Chinese social network, Weibo, which shows the device looking pretty similar to last year's circular smartwatch. However, this time, the screen takes up the entire surface of the watch face, without the bottom bezel.

The original Moto 360 featured a fairly thick bottom bezel in order to cut down on the thickness surrounding the rest of the screen. Motorola seems to have gotten past this problem as now it looks like the screen expands across the entire surface of the watch face, with little to no bezel.

It also looks like the smartwatch sequel will feature a metal clasp mechanism to connect wrist straps to the main body. This is actually the latest in several leaks, showing what is likely going to be the next Moto 360. The smartwatch is also tipped to feature Moto Maker customization at launch this time around.

The device probably won't launch until later this year, alongside the next Moto X smartphone.

The launch of the new Intel Core Ultra 200S family of CPUs along with Z890 motherboards was a thorny process. 1. The problem with most smartwatches is that there’s ample things you can do with them as a standalone device. It’s a companion for your phone, I understand, but I’d love them to have more standalone features so they’re not useless when your phone battery dies. Playing audio to a bluetooth device is such a feature.
