Grand Theft Auto V is finally coming to the PC in just under two weeks time and it seems like this time, there are no secret delays planned, as Rockstar has just released a new 60 frames per second trailer for the game on PC, showing off what is in store for those who have yet to play the game.
The trailer was uploaded to Rockstar's own website and is not yet on YouTube like all of the other trailers. The servers seem to be coping with the traffic pretty well right now so if you want to see the trailer, you can find it, HERE.
The trailer is all in-game but it doesn't actually show any gameplay. It is more like a teaser of what is in store for those who never got the chance to play the game on other platforms.
If you are looking to play the game on PC then you will need to know the system requirements;
Minimum specifications:
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 or AMD Phenom 9850 CPU.
- 4GB RAM.
- Nvidia 9800GT 1GB or AMD HD 4870 1GB.
- 65GB of storage space.
Recommended specifications:
- Intel Core i5 3470 or AMD FX-8350 CPU.
- 8GB RAM.
- Nvidia GTX 660 2GB or AMD HD 7870 2GB.
- 65GB of storage space.
The PC version of the game will support 4K resolutions for those on the cutting edge of PC hardware. The first person view mode will appear as well as an expanded soundtrack. Grand Theft Auto Online will be available from day one along with the Heists game mode.
However, the most important thing about the PC version of the game is mod support, GTA IV had plenty of mods extending its life and many are expecting the same from GTA V.

KitGuru Says: The trailer didn't really show off anything gameplay-wise. However, it is good to see that Grand Theft Auto V is finally coming to the PC. Have any of you guys held out this long to play the game on PC?
9800GT? is it real?
9800GT minimum? Then my GTS 250 can take this on! Hooray for non-DX11 exclusivity.
Yeah, probably look about XBOX360/PS3 level.
Which is perfectly acceptable.
i hope one day they will release Red Dead Redemption for PC also 🙁
Soon[TM]…

Upgrade your relic and let PC Gaming evolve bro.
Yeah, he’ll be mad when he can’t max out all the settings, then bash Rockstar for releasing an “unoptimized” game.
Just a quick question: Is GTA V supposed to be a game with high visuals, ‘n stuff? Because say what you want, this trailer reminded me of Burnout Paradise, in terms of visuals. I just dont feel that punch with it. BUT, I guess this game was never about the looks, and more about the gameplay itself. I’m excited! 🙂
I’ve already seen the console peasants proclaiming GTA V to be “dead” reality is they are just mad because their Microsoft and Sony rebrands of the same “toaster” can not do either native 1080P or 60FPS.If they tried to load the menu at 2K their toyboxes would melt lol

Just ordered my additional HDD. Not worried about any of my specs except the 8350 I am using for my main rig. My backup rigs though is a different situation. CPU is fine but the GTX 470 is a bit aging. Might get a 270X for it.
Enjoy 800×600 resolution buddy.
Will look worse than that for sure.
atleast now the console peasants won’t pull out the “we have gta 5” bullshit when it actually comes out..
Oh don’t worry. I know the performance will suck. I have pretty low expectations. I’m planning to upgrade after I graduate anyway. This is more of a testing for me before I have my new PC and play it at its full graphical glory.
This ain’t a GT 220. Haha
Xbox 360 i would imagine is going to be the “low” setting, have you seen the 360 version of GTA V? Im just going by other games i have seen, for instance, Advanced Warfare/BF4 360 version looks like the “low” setting for these games.
Maybe im wrong, we will soon see in 11 days.
