Ubisoft has revealed that one of its upcoming games, Tom Clancy's The Division, has been delayed once again. The title which was delayed until 2014 around this time last year. Now the game has been pushed back further, targeting a Q1 2016 release window.
The Publisher's quarterly financial report revealed the delay. However, it also revealed that Ubisoft has a secret project in the works for release in the same time period. This currently unannounced game could be anything from Ubisoft's IP catalog, including a sequel to Watch Dogs, Far Cry or even something new entirely.
Ubisoft's financial results for the fiscal year won't be too impacted by the delay, Ubisoft still has this year's Assassin's Creed coming during the holiday season, although we might see sales dip after everything that happened with Assassin's Creed Unity.
Tom Clancy's The Division was announced back in 2013, with an original release date set for 2014. The game is based on the Snow Drop engine and will be set in a post-apocalyptic city.

KitGuru Says: Game delays don't tend to surprise me anymore, they seem to be pretty common this generation. Are any of you guys looking forward to The Division?
Ubishite
I was looking forward to it until they mentioned that they would be downgrading the graphics to provide the same experience on consoles and pc…
and now you cry when they will delay it, can’t you guys fucking decide unfinished game or delay a year? always children complaining
They should stop putting release dates on games, that way no one will know ithe has been delayed.
Apologies, I should have clarified. I won’t buy another game from this woeful company until they sort a LOT of thing out!! They make EA look good 😮
Could say the same thing of AMD and drivers of late…. 😀
It’s not children complaining. When you give a release date, you should stick to it. If you can’t, don’t give one. It’s really that simple.
