Blizzard is giving European Hearthstone players two free card packs as an apology for connection issues that users faced last week. If you made your Hearthstone account before the third of May this year, you will be greeted with two classic card packs when you next log in.
The Battle.net update said: “As a thank-you for bearing with us, ALL Hearthstone accounts in the European Hearthstone region created prior to May 3, 2015 will enjoy two free Classic Hearthstone card packs, free of charge.”
It could take up to 24 hours for your free cards to appear, although it is unlikely. The classic card packs will give you cards from the original collection, you won't get any of the 120 cards included in the Gnomes VS Goblins expansion.
Hearthstone is available for free on a wide variety of platforms, including PCs, tablets and now smartphones.

KitGuru Says: That's quite a lot of free card packs to give out. That said, Blizzard is making plenty of money from Hearthstone, especially from the new expansions. Do any of you play Hearthstone? Did you get anything good from your free packs? Mine were pretty disappointing to be honest.
I JUST picked up heartstone. I’m not even sure if I registered before the 3rd. Aniways. Its an awesome game. And its much much better as a mobile game than a desktop one
