Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s screenshots will make your PC creak

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is much like Star Citizen, in that its forward thinking, graphical beauty makes the PCs of today look on in horror at the numbers they'll have to crunch to output the depth and detail shown in trailers for the dragon-free, medieval world. The latest batch of screenshots are no different, as though they look peaceful, the in-game snaps are breathtaking in their detail.

Posted to the game's official social networking accounts, the screengrabs from developer Warhorse are already drawing a lot of praise from backers, which have to date pledged nearly $2.5 million for the game. Stretch goals have for now been halted to make sure that all promised features make it into the game as it is now.

In-case you were thinking these were all pre-rendered, baked in screenshots there's also some early-gameplay videos floating around like the one below. It's not in English but it does show the sheer detail that's going into this game. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jaTqJpobME']

Made using the ever pretty Cry-Engine 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set for release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime in Q2/3 2016.

looked good until I saw the video was German? oh well.

  2. So the language of one random video makes a difference….why?

  3. the early Settlers were all in German as well , so that’s not a problem , hope the storyline is as impressive as this trailer

  4. I don’t think he’s saying that the video being in German makes the game bad, I think he means he was liking what he saw and wanted to know more but was disappointed he couldn’t understand what the video maker was talking about (and we already know the graphics are good so looking at the video doesn’t add much)

tl;dr he was probably just upset that there weren’t any gameplay details in English for a videogame on an English website

  5. Looks like 2D paintings not really a screen shot. But I did not watch the video takes up too much bandwidth.

  6. uhh…

    seems pretty cool,
but my 970 will burst into flames

  8. Screenshots look like a painting that hang on a wall… not something you can walk into. Yes the distant objects are smaller but so are drawings, paintings. It looks photo-shopped drawing. Doesn’t pop out like 3d to me.
Yea its hard to get what I am saying but… that’s what it feels like.

But I am sure the videos make it seem like something you can explore. I just can’t use all my bandwidth now.
