Sony's own virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus, is due out in the first half of 2016 so you can expect it to be one of the key talking points at Sony's E3 conference later today. However, we do have a few early details, such as the fact that the PlayStation 4 VR headset currently has over 30 games currently in development.
That said though, it remains to be seen how many of those games will actually be ready for the headset's launch. According to Wired, Project Morpheus will retail for “several hundred dollars”, which seems to be a common price target for all virtual reality headsets currently making their way to the market.
Apparently later today at Sony's E3 presentation, we will see at least twenty ‘games and experiences' for Morpheus. One of the games planned is a ‘proof of concept' first person shooter made by a new studio known as Impulse Gear .This game will apparently also be a PlayStation Move title.
Speaking with Wired, Sony's vice president of publisher and developer relations made it known that Sony is tracking the progress of over 30 games for Project Morpheus. There are quite a few genres in the works as well, with a tabletop game in the works, puzzle titles, ‘relaxation' games and exploration based games.

KitGuru Says: Sony is putting a lot of money in to its own push for virtual reality and it looks like it has plenty of studios on-board, though they may be smaller studios working on smaller projects. I'm still not convinced that the PS4 will be able to deliver a strong VR experience for triple A titles, though it may get away with smaller games.
