The follow up to the OnePlus One, currently unofficially known as the OnePlus Two, is set to be revealed In just less than a month at an event on the 27th of July (which will be viewable in virtual reality should you have a Google Cardboard headset). However, as with most mobile devices these days, we have got our first look at it quite a bit earlier than planned.
Leaks are common these days so it should come as no surprise that we already have our first look at the OnePlus Two smartphone thanks to Phone Arena. The images offer a look at both the front and back of the device:
The wooden panelling on the back leads me to believe that this may be a prototype model. Then again, Motorola's Moto X did introduced wood panelled smartphone backs and it actually turned out to be quite popular amongst buyers so who knows, maybe OnePlus will end up selling two variants in total.
On the front of the device we can see Oxygen OS running, looking about as clean as any stock Android ROM. We can also see that the display will have some pretty thin bezels, which will please many. Aside from that, we are expecting the OnePlus 2 to launch at a slightly higher price than the original and feature a Snapdragon 810 CPU along with a USB Type-C charging port.

KitGuru Says: Quite a few of our readers have experience with the OnePlus One. Are any of you waiting to upgrade your smartphone this year? Thinking about grabbing the OnePlus Two at all? I'm not a huge fan of the wooden back so I am hoping that there will be another version available.
Why is the phone bigger when it’s face down?
