The Philips Evnia range has impressed so far and the company is looking to continue that streak with its new 32-inch curved monitor. The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W combines QHD resolution, HDR and a 240Hz refresh rate to deliver on all fronts for high-end PC gaming, while keeping prices at a reasonable level.
Designed to cater to the needs of modern gamers, the Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W comes with an impressive range of features. Its 32-inch curved (1000R) VA display has a Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a 4000:1 contrast ratio. With an 8-bit colour depth, 92% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage (100% NTSC and 122% sRGB) and 500 nits of brightness, the monitor was eligible to receive VESA's DisplayHDR400 certification.
The new Philips Evnia monitor delivers in other areas, too. With a frame rate of 240Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro, and a 0.5ms response time (MPRT), users can expect fluid, fast, and judder-free gameplay. To top it off, the Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W is packed with features that prioritize user comfort and convenience, like the EasySelect feature to navigate through the OSD and LowBlue mode and Flicker-Free technology to reduce eyestrain. The Compact Ergo Base offers tilt, swivel, and height adjustment so you can easily set it to the right height and angle for optimal viewing.
Philips's new monitor comes calibrated out-of-the-box (ΔE < 2 sRGB) and will be released later this month with a retail price of £429.99.
