MSI offers free liquid-cooler with the purchase of Intel Z170 mainboard

MicroStar International will provide a free closed-loop liquid cooler from Cooler Master to the first buyers of their MSI Z170A Gaming M7 mainboards. The offer is limited, hence early adopters will need to be extremely quick.

The first buyers of MSI’s new Z170A Gaming M7 platform will get Cooler Master Nepton 120XL AIO closed-loop liquid cooler, which costs around £70 including VAT, for free. The stock will be limited to 150 pieces for the U.K., so early adopters of Intel’s “Skylake” platform will have to be really quick. The offering is exclusive to the U.K. market.

To get the free all-in-one Cooler Master Nepton 120XL cooler, the MSI Z170A Gaming M7 mainboard will have to be purchased from Overclockers UK, Scan, eB eBuyer, Dabs, Novatech, CCL and Box. Not all stock will be available on launch day, according to MSI.

The MSI Z170A Gaming mainboard is based on the Intel Z170 core-logic set and is designed for Intel Core i5/i7 “Skylake” microprocessors in LGA1151 form-factor. The motherboard features four DDR4 memory slots, three PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots for graphics cards or high-end solid-state drives, advanced multi-phase all-digital voltage regulator module (VRM) for central processing units and a rich set of overclocking capabilities. The mainboard also comes with two M.2 slots (PCIe 3.0 x4) for high-performance SSDs that can be used in RAID 0 mode for extreme performance, two SATA Express set of connectors, advanced 7.1-channel audio with separate circuitry protected against EMI, USB 3.1 and so on.
