AMD Catalyst driver version 15.7.1 for Windows 10 supports AMD Radeon hardware based on Terascale 2, TeraScale 3 and GCN [graphics core next] architectures released in the last six years. The new set of drivers fully support the newest AMD Radeon R9 300- and Fury-series products as well as AMD’s latest technologies, including AMD FreeSync (even in multi-GPU CrossFire configurations), frame rate target control and so on.
Nvidia GeForce driver version 353.62 for Windows is compatible with Nvidia GeForce graphics adapters based on Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell architectures. The new software from Nvidia includes all the latest tweaks, bug fixes, and optimizations to ensure the best possible gaming experience.

KitGuru Says: Looks like Microsoft Windows 10 era has officially begun. Some of the consumers who still use older or exotic hardware will have to upgrade if they want to use the new operating system from Microsoft.
When are we getting a KitGuru in depth review of windows 10 ? I’ve been keeping an eye out on my usual tech news sites and haven’t even seen it mentioned, I guess that is because they are all doing full tests and trying to find all the bad parts.

Couldn’t you find a pic of 2 older cards!??? :p
While the drivers are compatible with Nvidia’s Fermi, there is no DX12 support for Fermi in these drivers. That’s coming “at a later date,” per Nvidia.
ironically those cards does not support dx12
