Rocket League will come to other platforms

Rocket League launched earlier this month and it has been a great success so far. Reviews have been great, there has been a high level of support from Twitch streamers and the game has sold over five million copies so far. Now, it seems that the team behind Rocket League is working on bringing the game to other platforms as well.

Rocket League is currently only available on the PC and PlayStation 4 but thanks to strong sales, the game is now set to definitely come to additional platforms.

In a statement sent over to Gamespot, Rocket League's marketing Vice President said: “Yes, we are definitely bringing Rocket League to additional platforms. We'll have an official announcement of what platforms those are (and when) a little further down the line.”

A short while back there was talk of bringing Rocket League to the Xbox One, though it wasn't confirmed at the time. Who knows, maybe the game will even make an appearance in the Wii U before Nintendo moves on to the NX. Either way, we should learn more later this year.

KitGuru Says: Rocket League is a pretty fantastic game. I've had a lot of fun with it over the last couple of weeks, Jon has been clocking in quite a few hours as well, though we have yet to go head to head. Have any of you been playing Rocket League at all since it came out? What do you think of it?
