There are a lot of perks for being an Amazon Prime member. There's exclusive movies and TV shows, free access to huge libraries of books and music and free delivery. However for those living in select cities, Prime Now, a one or two hour delivery service is available. There are some restrictions, including a minimum order value, but now those that need some beer or wine in a hurry can have that delivered via the super-speedy service.
Prime Now is currently available in 17 cities around the world, including London, but this new Prime Now alcohol delivery system is only available for US customers in applicable cities. Buyers will still be restricted to certain minimum purchase amounts and those that want a one hour delivery will still cost them $7.99, but the two hour options will be free as usual (thanks Reuters).
There's even a 30 day free trial that can be used to try out the service. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z__ceolzWBg']
For those that are also in applicable areas for Amazon's Grocery service too, food goods can also be delivered in under two hours for free, or even quicker for the small fee.
Amazon isn't the only company offering super fast delivery of food and alcohol though, so this could be a hotbed of new growth, especially if we start factoring in drones for even faster drop-offs.

KitGuru Says: Since this service runs from 8AM to Midnight, I'm expecting a lot of deliveries late at night. And in some states, those orders will contain lots of cookies.
