Microsoft is teaming up with Dell to help sell its Surface tablets to businesses. The idea behind the partnership is to push Windows 10 adoption in the work place, ahead of Apple's impending iPad Pro launch, which will also be aimed at the enterprise market.
Dell is now going to be the first company to offer the Surface Pro 3 with enterprise support options, with the rollout kicking off in October in the US and Canada. Other countries will follow on early on in 2016.
It's a big move to try and curb the announcement of the iPad Pro, which will apparently be revealed later today at Apple's iPhone 6S event. However, Dell also sells its own tablet, known as the Venue Pro, so the company will now be offering both products.
Windows 10 is already off to a good start, with over 70 million installs in the first month. However, only around 1.5 million of those installs were at businesses, so Microsoft still has some ground to cover on that front.
