PC gamers weren't impressed when Batman: Arkham Knight launched on the PC a few months ago. Warner Bros has been pretty quiet on the subject in recent weeks but it looks like the next patch for Arkham Knight is set to feature some pretty important fixes.
The new patch for Arkham Knight is expected to release some time in September. However, for some reason, the patch was accidentally released early last night, giving us a look at the changes coming ahead of time. The most important of which is a much improved options menu.
Those who did get the patch before it was pulled had mixed reports. Some reported much improved performance, while others were still experiencing hitching issues. One thing everyone seemed to agree on though, is that the options menu itself is a lot better.
It is important to remember that this patch isn't finished yet, hence why it was swiftly pulled. Additionally, September's patch is set to be the ‘interim patch', before all of the final fixes come later on in the year, likely some time in October.

sorry but uve already lost my money, the game was put back long enough “oh its coming… wait no, no its not” then “oh its here, but oh oh no were taking it back again” i ended up just watching the cutscenes and after seeing how you LIED about it being a brand new character you created yourselves im not buying it, flat out lying to fans, its jason todd… doing the red hood story…. in a blue mask instead of red…. and even has the cheek to take off his blue mask once you know and has a red mask underneath…. i felt cheated, and oracle? really? the whole “fake a death” twist, wow… amazing…. except it wasnt it was really badly done, no boss battles worth mentioning, repetative gameplay, car constantly forced on you for no reason, what a dissapointment it was.
jason todd is the arkham knight, you are welcome, the games terrible dont bother, they just threw loads of comics stories together theres nothing new, scarecrow even evacuated gotham…. like in batman begins…. and gasses the city…. like in batman begins
I just got the patch tonight, even though it was reported as pulled yesterday.
For some reason the first 2 options under Nvidia Gameworks (Smoke and Paper Debris) are both locked to off for me.
Still a bit disappointed that there’s no SLI support yet.
