Capcom announced plans for a VR version of Resident Evil 4 Remake prior to the game's launch this year. It has been a while since we've had an update on its status but that changed today.
Resident Evil 4 Remake VR will officially launch on the 8th of December, initially only for PlayStation VR2 owners. The mode will be a free update to those who already own the main game on PlayStation and will allow players to run through the entire game in VR, just as the VR modes for RE 7 and RE Village did.
If you don't already own Resident Evil 4 Remake but do own a PlayStation VR2 headset, then have no fear, as there will be a free demo for the VR version available on day-one too, so you can download it and try it out without going all-in by buying the full game.
We don't know if the Resident Evil 4 Remake's VR mode will eventually make its way to the PC version but we certainly hope it does. With that said, we also had the same hope for Resident Evil 7 VR, but that remains a PSVR exclusive to this day.
KitGuru Says: Are you planning on trying out the RE4 Remake in VR? If you are a PC-only player, then it is worth noting that the classic version of Resident Evil 4 also has its own VR version, which is already available.
