Total sales for PlayStation’s PC ports have leaked

In an unfortunate case of ransomware, Insomniac Games have had a great deal of their internal documents leaked online. As part of this, concrete sales figures for the many PC ports of PlayStation titles have now been revealed.

As shared by Reddit user ‘OrangeC-2003’, an internal document from February 2023 shows the complete sales data for Steam specifically (meaning the Epic Games Store etc… are not included), revealing the best selling games so far:

  • Horizon Zero Dawn – 3.3 million
  • God of War – 2.5 million
  • Days Gone – 1.7 million
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – 1.3 million
  • Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – 483k
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – 450k
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure – 63k

It is worth noting that Horizon Zero Dawn was the first game to come to PC – all the way back in 2020 – meaning it had plenty of time to accumulate its sales. Similarly, Miles Morales had only been out for around 3 months when this presentation was created, so its relative lack of sales can be explained.

Regardless, it is interesting nonetheless to get an insight into the performance of these many ports – especially as Sony is quite elusive with sharing such sales data.
