New Asus ROG Swift G-Sync monitors heading to OCUK soon

Asus recently unveiled a new line of very impressive sounding ROG Swift gaming monitors and soon, you will be able to pick one up, as Overclockers UK has first dibs on pre-orders. Right now, three new monitors are up on the store, one being the Asus PG279Q, a 2560×1440 IPS panel running at 165Hz with G-Sync technology. There is also a 27-inch 4K G-sync 60Hz monitor on the way and a 34-inch Ultra-Wide, with G-Sync and a 100Hz refresh rate.

Stock isn't expected until November and it will be pretty limited. However, you can still pre-order each monitor. The Asus PG279Q will set you back £749.99, you will also need a GTX 900 series GPU in order to get the maximum 165Hz refresh rate so keep that in mind.

Next up on the list is the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q, the official answer to Acer's own 4K G-Sync TN monitor. The Asus 27-inch 4K G-Sync monitor comes with an IPS display for better colour accuracy and a 60Hz refresh rate for those who value higher resolution over refresh rate. This one is available to pre-order for £799.99.

Finally, we have the new Asus ROG Swift PG348Q, a massive 34-inch ultra-wide offering with a curved display. It comes with an IPS panel, a 3440×1440 resolution, a 100Hz refresh rate and finally, Nvidia's G-Sync variable refresh rate technology. Obviously a monitor of this calibre doesn't come cheap, those wanting the ultimate ultra-wide gaming experience can pre-order this model for £1199.99.

While the Asus PG279Q and the PG278Q are expected to arrive in November ahead of Christmas, the ultra-wide monitor unfortunately can't be guaranteed in time for Christmas and may not ship until January, so keep that in mind.

KitGuru Says: The new line of Asus monitors certainly looks impressive. I imagine many will be after that 165Hz 1440p display in particular. What do you think of the new line up from Asus? Thinking about picking one of these up?

Yea that’s what I am veering towards as I can 4K DSR. Not the same as 4K but still looks better than 2k. Plus I think 4K maybe too many pixels at 27inch
