EEC listing suggests AMD might release three new Radeon RX 7000 GPUs

EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) is a regulatory agency for registering electronic components and devices before they hit the market. Recently, a relatively unknown manufacturer called Arktek submitted new Radeon SKUs to the website. The listing included various Radeon RX GPUs we already know about, alongside a few surprises.

Twitter tech leaker, @harukaze5719 shared a screenshot of the listing, highlighting the “RX 7800” and “RX 7700”, but we can also see an “RX 7600 XT” in it. Apart from these three unannounced SKUs, the remainder is consistent with AMD's existing offerings, ranging from the 500 series (RX 550 and 580) to RX 7000 series GPUs.

The price and performance disparity between the Radeon RX 7600 and the RX 7700 XT is notable. Assuming we get these three new SKUs, AMD would fill this gap with the RX 7600 XT and RX 7700. Since the RX 7600 already uses a fully enabled Navi 33 GPU, AMD would probably use the Navi 32 for the RX 7600 XT. The RX 7600 has 32 CUs, whilst the RX 7700 XT has 54 (despite the silicon having 60).

The Radeon RX 7800 is a different story. The performance gap between the RX 7700 XT and the RX 7800 XT is just enough to cram a new GPU between the two. With RX 7700 XT prices coming down at retail, there is enough of a price gap between it and the RX 7800 XT, so an RX 7800 could slot nicely into the line-up.

It is important to remember that EEC listings are not always correct. Many third-party companies, sometimes working for OEMs and board partners, propose model names that may never be officially released. On the other hand, custom models may appear weeks or even months later, as we've seen in the past.
