MSI GS40 Phantom Gaming Notebook arrives in November

MSI is well-known for its gaming notebooks and earlier this month it revealed the brand new GS40 phantom series, based on Intel’s latest generation Skylake processors and Nvidia’s Maxwell-based graphics chips all packed in to a powerful 14-inch form factor. Since the initial announcement and our subsequent exclusive video preview, a few readers have been asking when they can get their hands on one, so we got in touch with MSI to find out!

Overclockers UK is the first retailer to have pre-orders open for the laptop, which is currently scheduled to begin shipping on the 16th of November.

In terms of specifications, you can expect an Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor, which offers a 20 per cent boost over the previous Core i7 4720HQ. It also packs a decent punch in the graphics department, with the Maxwell-based Nvidia GTX 970m GPU, which offers pretty solid performance at 1080p, as shown by our previous notebook reviews.

If you want to get a closer look at the laptop while reviews are still in the making, then you can check out our preview, HERE.

KitGuru Says: Things are looking promising for the GS40 Phantom. Be on the lookout for our full review in the near future!

  1. This is something very interesting that is worth paying your extreme attention ,a very good chance to work for those people who want to use their free time so that they can make some extra money using their computers… I have been working on this for last two and half years and I am earning 60-90 dollar/ hour … In the past week I have earned 13,70 dollars for almost 20 hours sitting ….

Any special qualification, degree or skills is not necessary for this, just keyboard typing and a good working and reliable internet connection ….

Not any Time limitations to start work … You may do this work at any time when you willing to do it ….

Just know how I have been doing this…..….see this (webiste-Iink) on my !profile!` to know how I am working` on this`

  2. One thing I’m wondering is max ram support. Overclockers UK specs show max. 16, but I’d think it should be able to handle 2 x 16 = 32 (by being Skylake). Could someone confirm this?
