iPhone 7 to be rid of camera bump

When the iPhone 6 came around, Apple managed to make the body of the phone so thin that the camera couldn't sit level with the rest of it, causing what we now know as the camera bump. Now, apparently Apple will be fixing this in the design of this year's iPhone according to new reports, which also suggest that the antenna lines on the back will also disappear.

According to a source speaking with MacRumors, Apple has found a way to make its camera module a bit smaller, allowing it to fit inside of a thinner smartphone properly and removing the bump.

Other rumors surrounding the iPhone 7 suggest that the company will be ditching the headphone jack this year though this has yet to be officially confirmed. Instead, we may see Apple bundle headphones with a lightning port connection instead or make the switch to wireless ear pods.

The iPhone 7 will be revealed later this year in September. However, there is another new iPhone coming in March, known as the iPhone 5SE, which is said to feature the iPhone 5S 4-inch design with the internal specifications of an iPhone 6S.

KitGuru Says: I wasn't a fan of the camera bump on the iPhone 6 so this seems like a good design change. Are any of you currently running an iPhone? Will you be upgrading this year? I'm actually using an iPhone 5S myself since I'm not a huge fan of larger smartphones.
