Here’s a list of 12 games at the Steam VR Showcase today

With Valve set to enter the VR world in just a few months time with the launch of the HTC Vive, the company has decided to set up a developer showcase to give exposure to several developers currently making games for SteamVR. The event is set to kick off today and while we have been told not to expect any first-party announcements from Valve, there are quite a few third-party developers working on projects.

In a post on Twitter, Gamasutra editor Kris Graft posted a picture of the list of games set to appear at the showcase, which include titles like Job Simulator and Elite: Dangerous.

The full list includes: Space Pirate Trainer, Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives, Arizona Sunshine, Final Approach, Audioshield, Elite: Dangerous, Budget Cuts, The Gallery: Call of Starseed, Fantastic Contraption, Cloudlands: VR Minigolf, Hover Junkers and Tilt Brush.

That's 12 games in total from third-party developers working on SteamVR. We don't know when all of these games will launch or if they will be ready by the time that the HTC Vive releases in April. We also don't know if Valve is planning anything of its own for the launch.

KitGuru Says: Valve is set to launch SteamVR quite soon so it makes sense that it wants to help highlight third-party developer projects. However, it would be nice to see something from Valve itself as well.

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation

Black Ops 6 is officially here, bringing the innovative new Omni-movement system to the game. While on the surface a relatively simple change, I argue that Treyarch intimately studied DOOM and the past 30 years of first-person shooter evolution to craft one of the most satisfying gameplay systems yet.
