Far Cry: Primal and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition are both out on the PC this week and Nvidia is already on the case with a new optimized ‘Game Ready' driver for the occasion. Game Ready 362.00 WHQL drivers are now available, containing an SLI profile and some performance tweaks for Ubisoft's new Far Cry spin-off.
On the Gears of War side, the game support's Nvidia's HBAO+ ambient occlusion and higher frame rates in both the campaign and multiplayer. Unfortunately, though, Gears uses the Universal App platform on Windows 10, which comes with some limitations and as a result, some users are having issues with the game. Those using an Nvidia GPU may need to turn off GSync to avoid stuttering.
This driver also adds in support for Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition, which is a re-release of Techland's zombie, parkour, open-world title with some updated graphics and new content. This version of the game also includes the full expansion called ‘The Following'.
Nvidia GPU users can download the driver through the GeForce Experience right now.
KitGuru Says: If you're running a Nvidia GPU and are playing any of these games, then grab the new driver and let us know how you get on.
So wi have another Batman Arkham Knight and GWFL… great well done MS
No issues here on a 980ti. Great job releasing timely driver updates Nvidia on great games, not like laggard AMD, Green Team does drivers best.
