Sony and Naughty Dog have had to delay the PlayStation 4's next big exclusive title, Uncharted 4, once again. The final entry in Nathan Drake's story was originally due to release last year but was pushed back to March this year. Shortly after, that release date was moved to April and now, it has been pushed back just a bit more to May.
The good news is that this delay was purely for manufacturing purposes to ensure that there are enough physical copies of the game to go around worldwide at launch so this should actually be the last delay.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will now be releasing on the 10th of May. The announcement was made in a post on the PlayStation Blog, which said: “We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.”
Those of you who do own a PS4 can get a look at Uncharted 4 this weekend during the open multiplayer beta.
KitGuru Says: I actually just bought a PS4 myself so I'm currently working through the Nathan Drake collection before Uncharted 4 launches. Have any of you been looking forward to Uncharted 4? Any thoughts on the game being delayed so many times?
