The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion may launch next month

Since the launch of the first expansion for The Witcher 3 back in October last year, CD Projekt Red has been silently working away on its second, larger expansion called ‘Blood and Wine'. While we haven't heard much about the new expansion officially, it looks like it may be getting a surprise release next month.

It seems that a popular Polish gaming website  has listed a 26th of April release date for Blood and Wine, which will see Geralt venture to the mysterious land of Touissant, an area unaffected by the war between Nilfguard and Temaria.

We don't really know where GRYOnline got this release date from but it could be a hint of things to come. If CD Projekt Red is planning on launching the expansion at the end of April, then we will likely hear something more official quite soon.

CD Projekt Red has been dropping some breadcrumbs though in recent weeks, having released two screenshots from Blood and Wine as well as letting us know that the original composer for The Witcher 3's soundtrack will be returning with all new music for this new content.

KitGuru Says: CD Projekt Red has been really quiet on what is going on with what could be the final expansion for The Witcher 3. However, if this release date is accurate then we will likely start getting some official details quite soon. Are any of you looking forward to Blood and Wine? I've been waiting to jump back into The Witcher since completing the Hearts of Stone expansion last year.

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation

Black Ops 6 is officially here, bringing the innovative new Omni-movement system to the game. While on the surface a relatively simple change, I argue that Treyarch intimately studied DOOM and the past 30 years of first-person shooter evolution to craft one of the most satisfying gameplay systems yet.
