A new Intel roadmap covering the desktop/mobile CPU, workstation CPU and GPU segments, has begun circulating. The roadmap highlighted several new products launched in 2023: the 14th Generation Core series, Core Ultra 100, Xeon Sapphire Rapids, and discrete graphics like Arc. However, it also included what we can expect for 2024, including the Battlemage GPUs.
According to the roadmap shared by 4Gamer (via Wccftech), Intel plans to bring even more exciting products in 2024, reinforcing its commitment to launch Battlemage next year. With this GPU architecture, it seems Intel has taken a more cautious approach by not naming specific quarters, a lesson learned from the delayed launch of Alchemist.

Although Intel has not released any fresh information on Battlemage, there have been plenty of rumours and leaks about it. According to the latest rumours, Battlemage will include a new form of memory, likely GDDR6X, which will enhance ray tracing and introduce microarchitecture advancements. It will also prioritise next-generation AI rendering technologies and provide enhanced Deep Link support for discrete and integrated GPU workloads.
Furthermore, Battlemage is officially targeting the performance and enthusiast groups, suggesting that Intel aims to penetrate and potentially grab a share of the high-end market. The flagship SKU now under development, the BMG-G10 GPU, is expected to have a TDP of 225W, while the BMG-G21 is expected to have a power target of 150W. Additionally, rumours suggest that the BMG-G10 will employ a more advanced process node, enabling Intel to pack more cores onto the chip. Gamers can expect at least 56 Xe-Cores, just under twice as much as the ACM-G10's 32 Xe-Cores.
