At this point, many of you will have read the reviews for the GTX 1070 and some of you may also be planning on picking one up. If you’re aiming to grab one on day one, then you will want to be quick as stock is expected to sell out fairly quickly. From 2PM (BST) the GTX 1070 will be available at several places online, including Overclockers UK and Nvidia's own online store.
We have been informed that some board partner cards with custom coolers will also be available to look at and buy from today at Overclockers UK. Nvidia will only be stocking Founder's Edition cards on its own store, so if other retailers sell out, you may be able to hunt one down over there.

The GTX 1070 offers a massive performance jump over the GTX 970, which we pointed out in our review. It is a solid card but pricing may vary. The recommended retail price for the Founder's Edition card is £399 but as we saw with the GTX 1080, board partners will likely stray from that price point.
KitGuru Says: The GTX 1070 is shaping up to be a fantastic card and with it being more affordable than the 1080, it will be a popular choice for many. Are any of you planning on buying a GTX 1070? Will you be trying to get one today or will you be waiting a while?
I want to upgrade my 2x 760 4GB to 1 1070 and maybe one day i will add one more 1070.
But i don’t need the power right now, so i will wait to upgrade until BF1 gets released 🙂 and maybe the 1070 will have got a cut in the price by then 😀
It’s hope that AMD will release a better price/performance card in this range and force nVidia’s hand in reducing prices. But they’re making hay while the Sun shines as it were…
When AMD release there new high end card, i think nvidia will release the 1080ti.
And AMD new cards and the 1080ti will force the price down on 1080 and 1070, or so i hope.
lets see what AMD release later this year. 🙂
