Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 winner announced

Last week, we teamed up with Overclockers UK to give away one of the first custom RX 480 boards available in the UK- the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480. We received thousands of entries for this competition but there can only be one winner, who we are announcing today.

The winner is: Paul Pereirinha! Congrats Paul, you should receive an email with confirmation and requesting your address for shipping.

RX 480

Sapphire’s Nitro cooler is one of the best around and that additional cooling efficiency allows for higher out of the box overclocks on the GPU. Sapphire’s RX 480 Nitro comes with enhanced Core and Boost clocks, alongside 8GB of 8000MHz GDDR5 memory running with a 175W TDP, so it will pack more of a punch while still being power efficient. We do have a review for this card on the way but in the meantime, you can get a good feel for what the RX 480 is capable of by reading our review of the reference board.

The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 was the first custom card to be listed at retail. If you want to ensure you get one at launch, you can pre-order at OCUK.

  5. Overclockers UK clearly says that the core and boost clocks are TBCMHz. What more could you possibly want to know? That’s clearly the best chip ever built.
