Microsoft is currently readying the launch of a new tool that will make it easier to do a clean install of Windows 10, free of bloatware. With its latest OS, Microsoft offered users the ability to ‘reset' a PC which restores it back to a previous time, this new tool though will wipe out bloatware installed by PC manufacturers, leaving you with a truly clean install.
The tool is only available to Windows Insiders at this point in time but Microsoft will likely release it more widely once it has been tested a bit more.
This all comes just before the launch of Microsoft's Windows 10 Anniversary Update, which is also being tested right now, with two builds being sent out to Insiders this week according to The Verge. Microsoft is holding a ‘bug bash' right now to try and seek and stomp out as many bugs as possible before shipping the update in a few weeks time.
KitGuru Says: When you buy a laptop or a pre-built PC, you will often find it comes with some unwanted software. Being able to easily reinstall Windows 10 to cut all of that out seems like it would be quite a useful tool for those not building their own rigs.

Could you explain, because I don’t get the difference. If I buy a pc and this helps me get rid of all the bloatware leaving only a clean W10, what’s different from a clean install. Do you mean like generally?

it sounds like you already need to have W10 installed on your PC; this tool isn’t allowing you to make a clean install but to clean the already installed Windows
Installed Windows 10 and when i see BIG ugly buttons like i`m on on phone to switch them with a MOUSE… Instant FORMAT C and back to Windows 7.

Why is it hard to do a clean install anyways? I’ve already done one on my PC after upgrading to Win 10. Just format and reinstall and all is well, activated and all. So we’ve actually been able to do “Clean Installs” this entire time Win 10 has been out. You need no Tools except a Windows 10 download burned to a disk or stick. Did people really not know this?
If you mean the tiles, it is easy to remove them or shrink them using the context menu.
because assholes like Lenovo have embedded some of their software in the UEFI and it will install itself
my guess is that MS will compare a clean install with what “you” have and remove the extras from the OS
Actually most stable tech preview I have seen actually most stable windows I have seen since well ever. I have not used 7 but here it is stable. We will see I torture tested it with 17 games, OC my 3.9 to 4.9 and still no crashes, and can have all programs start after boot with options to restart where left off when boot on. Not bad. But your experiances may vary.

Do you have zero windows knowledge? I hate people who hate on windows 10 for simple cosmetic things that can be change with very little effort, you do not even need to be a massive nerd to know you to RIGHT CLICK the fucking titles and CHANGE THE FUCKING SIZE to a small icon, guess what else? You can also DELETE all of the TILES you do not want. Simple and easy, you can also RESIZE the start menu on the fly, no extra programs or software required.
Why would you even install Windows 10 without knowing and experiencing it without “upgrading” via windows update or via an ISO? So you could roll back to your previous OS without the need to “FORMAT C” to revert changes….
I think i have figured out why you hate on Windows 10…….
I`m using Windows since 3.1 ~`94
Installed “StartIsBack” because i`m not on Tablet and do not need icons big as a brick what is ok for phone or tablet to look fancy but not for Desktop PC where you working and NOT doing presentation how Win 10 looks nice. Second, I do not like telemetry and spy crap while using My own PC, fixed that with tiny utility and no more lag in games. Uninstalled all bloatware and their crap i can`t even use since i`m not in USA. MS Programmers think If they can have Netflix that whole world can have it, more epic fail.
Format C is no problem since i have Ghost image of my old system and can mount that image as drive and pull out what i need when i want or even restore my old win from that image. Mouse latency is not even close to Win 7 or XP, if you do not know what i mean, just Google it “LatencyMon” and try to reduce latency under 20uS.

And again you list a load of shit, that if you were truly using windows since 3.1 you would know how to easily disable.
Also, i have ZERO adverts ever on my windows 10 system, zero things running that i do not want running, ZERO third party software to remove those things.
It is not only easy to remove anything you might have concerns with, Windows 10 is a better OS.
I say this because i am a gamer, my main use of my PC is gaming, then watching videos, and editing videos of YouTube, windows 10 does all the things i need, faster and more efficiently than previous windows.
Windows 10 is not windows 8.1 like you seem to keep implying, windows 10 by default is a DESKTOP with a START MENU, one that has more customization and is more intuitive than the original start menu and any of the third party start programs.
I have been using windows 10 since before it release on the insider program, i upgraded my Windows 8.1 x64 pro to Windows 10 x64 pro for free, and in 12 months on windows 10 i have had 3 BSoD’s compared with the 15 i had on windows 8.1 in the same time frame and countless more on Windows 7 (for gaming at least)
Also, as a gamer, there is ZERO extra latency with my mouse, and that is something that i as a game would notice im using a gaming grade mouse with 1000Hz refresh rate and 12700 dpi, as i say, im a gamer, these things are important to me, and windows 10 all around works better.
And yet, Widows 10 sucks for an infinite list of reasons.
List some of them then? Because the only people i see bitching about how much windows 10 sucks are those who are too simple in the head to do some basic, very easy tweaks.
I get on average 15FPS more in games, i use on average 10% less ram, my power bill has come down since switching to windows 10, even though the physical price per unit has risen. As far as i and most of the people i know who use windows 10 are concerned, you can go sit on a dildo 😀 Windows 10 is the best OS for gaming and is uses resources more efficiently. So whatever, keep your shitty old redundant OS that will be out of its service life within a year as support for windows 7 is cut, and 2 years until support for windows 8.1 is cut, and like the cunt you seem to be, pay $130 for a copy of windows 10 because you old redundant OS is open to all kinds of virus’ and malware and hackers, please do. Just don’t come whining about how much windows 10 cost you when you have to pay for it, unlike the smart people who got it for free.
